Falls are moderate yellow-pink edged pinkish white, moderate purple-red speckles towards the bottom of the petal; beards are salmon-pink.  2 branches plus a spur yield 7-8 buds. You know its the end of the season when this one starts to bloom, normally beginning in the first few weeks of November. A number of years ago, a friend of ours asked us to hybridize a pink Iris to commemorate her friend who had lost her battle with bowel cancer.
